The Future of The Corosync Cluster Engine

Steven C Dake (sdake@redhat.com)

The Linux high availability cluster community has been hard at work on The Corosync Cluster Engine that forms the central foundation of other projects. This presentation revisits our original goals when starting the Corosync Cluster Engine project. The current high level architecture with information on each significant component is described. A short description of some integration that has taken place with Corosync is given. Finally the community derived future feature roadmap is presented.

This presentation doesn't require of the attendee a detailed knowledge of clustering techniques or programming languages. Both technical and non-technical people interested in high availability clustering may find the presentation valuable for their future decision-making.
